Bigger than I was expected.Best camping chair ever. But the xl pad they have for the legs (sold separately) does not fit! Do not buy that!We just graduated from the standard chairs to this one. Got great compliments and queries about the brand at a music festival after others watched us remove these from our backpack and set up in less than 5 minutes.This chair is surprisingly sturdy and comfortable. It's wide, and doesn't press into my legs when I'm seated, which is really nice for us curvy women (size 14). The fabric is sewn well, with strong seams. For a larger Helinox, it's still easy to carry through the day, and it's really nice to have a supportive chair to rest in for a while. The seat is wide enough to tuck my legs under me, getting my feet off the ground, which is good if you're worried about any creepy crawlers that might roam past while you're sitting out in the brush. The mesh back lets my shirt stay dry, but does get a little cool in the evening and early morning.I love how easy it is to set up the frame; I just give it a gentle shake, and it almost completely clicks into place for me. The fabric seat does need to be stretched a little to get the last corner placed onto the frame, which might be tricky if you have arthritis. Keep in mind that the frame should last longest when one's weight is balanced properly over it, so I do have to be careful about finding the most level patch of ground out there, which is not always easy. I also bought the rocking feet attachments, but I tend to leave those at home, since they're kind of awkward to carry after a while.It is an expensive camping chair, but I do like how light it is. If you're short and plus-size like me, this might be the right chair for you. I also have a Helinox Swivel chair, and while I love the smaller size/lighter weight of it, I'm always a little self-conscious about how I look sitting in it, and usually decide to travel with the Helinox XL.Wanted this for my lunch chair at work. Was not sure if it was tough enough for daily use on a construction site. So far it’s held up very well and is extremely comfortable as well.I was concerned about sturdiness....I'm 228 lbs. and this chair met all my expectations. Lightweight and packs small. Used on motorcycle trip across country, easy set up and didn't think twice about sitting in it. I considered the regular chair and opted for the XL....good decision.....I imagine more the XL has more room? Very please with purchase would highly recommend....fast delivery, happy with transaction....This chair is amazing! Now that I see how big it really is, I wish that I purchased the “chair one” which is a smaller version of this exact chair. HOWEVER, I love the extra room and I’m very comfortable in it. As far as setting this up, it’s incredibly basic. Pretty much assembles itself once you start moving the legs around. Also it’s incredibly lightweight. Definitely will purchase another one of these for my homeGlad to have this chair that is actually made for us full size folk (6' 4", 270 lbs) . . . has already been put to use and looking forward to using it on an upcoming trip as well as any motorcycle trips that I can sneak it along.Der Stuhl macht einen soliden Eindruck, ist dabei aber schön leicht und hat ein ideales Packmass um ihn auf dem Rad mitzunehmen. Die Stoffsitzfläche wird auf dem zusammengesteckten Rahmen eingehängt und das hat bei mir - zumindest beim ersten Mal - ein bisschen gedauert. Außerdem erfordert es Kraft in den Händen, weil die Sitzfläche unter Spannung steht. Das auseinander bauen geht dann wieder sehr schnell und das zerlegte Gestell und die gefaltete Sitzfläche passen gut in die mitgelieferte Packtasche. Bei der hat man auch mitgedacht, sie hat aussen einen Tragegriff und eine Schlaufenleiste, mit der man sie mit Karabinern oder Rep am Rad oder Rucksack befestigen kann. Der Chair One XL hat auch eine angenehme Sitzhöhe von knapp 40cm, d.h. man kann gut daraus aufstehen. Ich bin jetzt noch nicht lang drin gesessen, aber das einzige Manko, das ich gefunden habe, ich finde die Sitzfläche nicht besonders tief. Mal schauen, wie bequem der Stuhl auf Dauer ist. Aber insgesamt finde ich Konstruktion, Gewicht und Packmass sehr überzeugend.I was very happy with this purchase on a recent camping trip. I am bigger with a lot of hips and knowing that I had a chair that was not going to class on me when we got back to camp after a day of hiking made a huge difference in being comfortable out in the back country. The chair set up beautifully, it’s very sturdy, wider and bigger than my camping partners chairs. And at first they made fun of the price because there’s were under $50, howeverOne of theirs didn’t even survive the trip. I’m too old to sit on the ground and camping to me doesn’t mean suffering, so backpacking the 4 pounds of this was worth itSehr bequem auch für Leute mit dickem Popo. Sind auch hoch genug, daß ich sogar ohne Stock aufstehen kann. Dazu ist das Maß Unterschenkel minus Oberschenkel wichtig, daß das mindestens erreicht oder besser übertroffen wird. Man sitzt leicht nach hinten gelehnt mit ganz leicht angewinkelten Knien, dh. bei längerem Sitzen werden keine Gefäße zugeklemmt. Zuerst angeschaffte, kleinere Modelle habe nicht gut funktioniert.Wir haben uns zwar für den Helinox Sunchair entschieden, dieses Modell ist aber auch supergut. Man sitzt sehr bequem, auch als großer Mensch mit ein paar Pfündchen Zuviel auf den Rippen. Die Verarbeitung ist m.E. die beste, die es bei derartigen Modellen gibt, rechtfertigt den Preis auf jeden Fall. Der Aufbau ist sehr schnell erledigt und Gewicht wie Packmass sensationell. Uns hat einzig gestört, dass man den Kopf hinten wegen der niedrigeren Lehne nicht ablegen kann, ist aber Geschmackssache.Tolle Sitzhöhe und so bequem, dass man gar nicht merkt, dass man sitzt.Dazu das geringe Gewicht und das kleine Packmaß - geniales Teil.Ist wohl der Mercedes unter den Stühlen dieser Art, aber auch jeden Euro wert!
