There are a lot of these ultralight high back camping chairs out there, but the others that claim to have armrests really just have the edge of the fabric folded over like a flappy-wing that is basically no support at all for arms. This KingCamp one has real separate armrests! Granted they're fabric and one side has a bottle holder hole but arms rest pretty comfortably, and the end part is good for pushing off to stand up from the chair. They actually hook into their own section of metal pole so it's not like the armrests were an afterthought - they're part of the frame.I do have a confession: I'm not camping with this, I'm using it as a comfy gaming chair at home. Now here's the thing, and it's not a criticism of this KingCamp chair specifically, but all of them. I HATE the way you sink down in the seat like a hammock. So, I also bought this cushion and it works perfectly for eliminating the sink and like I wrote, it's really comfy (have the handle side facing out): https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07VX6WLJ7Bonus points if you put a faux leather car seat-type cover over the cushion and backrest, it actually looks like a decent piece of furniture with that add-on.Faux leather seat cover: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B075K7KVKPI also can't believe this chair is only 3.7 lbs - if I was camping with it, it would be no effort to take along. But the star of the show is having the separate armrests unlike pretty much all of the other high back camping chairs of this type.
