The quality of this chair exceeded expectations. Assembly was easy and the shipping was way faster than we expected. Works well for the stand up desk setup when you don't want to stand all the time. Perfect for our Helmet Flair office. This chair is not a disappointment when assembled. Looks nice and the size, shape & features are as advertised. Now, after about a year of regular use I have some feedback to share.I have long legs and so most important to me was the measurement of the seat bottom from front to back. It's accurately listed at 20". Unfortunately, not all of that 20" is usable. The seat Back has a built-in non-adjustable curvature and this forces me to sit about 3"- 4" forward from the rear of the Back cushion. This means that my thighs are further forward than I'd like, resulting in my Thigh resting on the front edge of the chair about 6" behind my knee. This puts unwanted pressure on my leg and I believe it's not conducive to good blood flow to/from my lower extremities. This situation exists even with my feet on the bottom ring footrest. And I always use the ring footrest. I tried adding a 2" cushion to relieve the pressure. This was ineffective and presented a new issue. Now, I am lifted up 2"...but the Back curvature is now more prominent. Results in Higher but further forward position. No win here.I thought I'd like the arm rests. I tried one side, than the other side, both, and neither. Results: Neither, and so, for me, they've been Up since the 1st week. You might like them as they're nicely padded.I also thought Height Adjustable was perfect because I do have a high desk. Often sitting at the highest setting possible and sometimes Standing. Alternating works well for me. Unfortunately, the "gas" piston that allows up/down has developed a peculiar habit. Without warning, it suddenly drops down. Sometimes there's a warning slippage of a few inches, at other times it slowly drops to the bottom. I've learned to pull my feet off the Ring just in time. It's not predictable to require replacement yet. There's one feature missing. I felt at the time of purchase that a Tilt-back seat was something I could live without. And that I regret. Often when I'm watching a video/zoom I would like a small amount of "tilt" but unfortunately it's not on this chair. No fault of this chair maker. My mistake. So, that's about the most expansive view I've written here on amazon. Hope it helps... and to answer the question: Would I buy it again? NO! ...and too, most likely, I'll not replace it with any other chair without first sitting in it prior to purchase & assembly...Lesson learned.UPDATE/ 11/4/21 ~ OK, so here's more info for you to consider: Yes, like many of you, due to the Covid pandemic, I have spent alot of time at my computer and so alot of time in this chair. I did make a welcome modification. I was able to remove the hard plastic molded Backrest from the chair. This allowed me to sit further back and so remove some of the pressure under my thighs and increase blood flow to my lower limbs. Clever and more comfortable. Yet, another issued has continued. The action of slowly dropping down continues. It's a daily event lately but still manageable. I suppose I could look for a replacement cylinder but I'm attempting to reduce my inve$tment in this chair. It still works well enough but it's not something I would purchase again. At this price point, I was hoping to get a chair that, in terms of craftsmanship, felt a bit above some of the $50-$80 chairs that I have bought in the past for previous workspaces. Unfortunately, this was not the case with this chair as it still does not feel like its constructed top notch. There were some minor marks and scuffs on the plastic parts of the chair that I received, and one of the wheels did not fit into the wheelbase of the chair without actually using a hammer to hit it down hard (because the plastic the wheelbase was constructed from was not an exact fit for the wheel itself as it should be :/).Overall the chair feels comfortable and has many of the premium features you would expect in more expensive chair models. However the material it's constructed from doesn't feel premium, and the craftsmanship/quality control was not a step up from the previous $50-$80 chairs I purchased. This one was $120.The chair was not easy to assemble, because some of the parts did not exactly fit together as they should have (like the wheel I mentioned above) and required your own hammer to completely construct.TLDR; I would rate the chair a 3.5/5 if I could. Overall, it has nice features for the price point, but the craftsmanship and quality control were just not there for my model.Ordered these for our office when we all switched over to standing desks; they are decently comfortable, and while they take a little while to assemble it is simple enough. However they do not last very long- not even a full year into regular use and they began sinking from their full height whenever weight was put on them, and eventually we weren't able to get them to raise in height at all. We were able to force a few to stay at height be putting a screw through the base, just accepting that this would now be their permanent height. A little under 2 years in and we are having to replace most of them. So okay for a short term option, but it's worth it to invest a little more in something that is going to last.As it became apparent I'd be working remotely long term (thanks, COVID!) I needed a comfy, affordable chair to switch to from a dining chair. I have a height-adjustable standing desk which I use the lower chair height for, and a taller drafting table that I raise it up to use with. I like the ergonomic back, the foot rest ring, the foldable arms, the easy raising and lowering mechanism, and the breathability of the mesh fabric. I do not like how the fabric is already starting to wear a bit after 5 months of weekday use. The seating pad is comfortable but it seems like it will start to sink in sooner than later like most chairs in this range (I'm 135 lbs. for reference). This chair was easy to put together by myself. If I sat for more of the day I'd invest in a better chair but for the price point I'm happy with this purchase.I bought this high back office chair for my telework from home about 5 months ago, it arrived on time, it’s much better quality than I expected. Easy assemble, Straight forward, I put it together in 20 minutes by myself, it came with clear instructions. This chair is perfect for my standing desk at home, I am 6”5, 250 pounds, I have back issue and can’t stand for long time, it has a nice lumber curve, so this high back chair works out great to support my back, and especially the breathable mesh back keep my back cool. I have A comfortable and relaxing working day at home since I used this chair. I use it during works eight hours a day, thanks to it make my work more enjoyable. The flip arms make my body more close to the desk, adjustable height, adjustable foot rest, space saving and very durable. Very pleased with this purchase!
