This item may appear like a descent leather chair however it is bonded leather, not genuine leather but merely a paper thin veneer of leather that is glued to a thick piece of canvas.I received the chairs very well package They were very easy to assemble. And they’re beautiful. I have received so many compliments from my family and friends. I definitely recommend themThis thing was a bear to put together. Apparently some of the frame pieces were bent and required a rubber mallet to get them into the holes. Once that was done, I sat in it and realized it was meant for a 5-year-old's rear end, not a grown (and thin) man's. It offers no back or neck support and would be terrible to sit in for more than a few moments. Too bad, since it looks great in the room. The leather is really nice. I just wish it were more useful. If you want it for decoration and not function, go for it. I'm going to try to return it if I can get the frame to come apart after being forced into shape. If not I guess I can give it to a stylish first-grader.Looks great in our home. Cover was beautiful- frame was not the sturdiest but we were really just looking for a new cover so it is great!The seller went over and beyond in making sure everything arrived safely. The packaging protected the metal legs and the leather seat is absolutely gorgeous! The frame assembly wasn't simple and with being hallow doesn't give an appropriate sturdiness. I was quite disappointed for the price of purchaseThe frame bent out of shape the first try. The cover, however, is mag magnificent.
