UPDATE TO REVIEW: I did hear back from seller and I must say they were extremely understanding and they took care of the faulty chairs. Hopefully, I just had a bad batch as the chairs were very attractive.I purchased this set of chairs to go on a new deck that we were building. I did not open them till past the 30 day return warranty. That was my mistake! Once unpacked I just loved the way they looked. There is one hook on each chair that holds it open. On one chair we had a hard time getting it to latch but finally were able to do so. We set down to enjoy the sunset and noticed the chair arms were buckled and as we continued to set the arm keep bending and I almost hit the ground. We then looked at the second one and the inside of the arm was scratched. I contacted the vendor but it has been over a week with out hearing anything. So lesson learned to check before warranty runs out as of now both of the chairs will not be used as I fear they are a safety hazard.Update: the seller did send me new chairs with clasps and the arms chairs look like their in good condition.The arms chairs collapsed on one chair, maybe because it was a hot day? Still unacceptable. . Chairs also missing the lock depicted in the picture so one would fold in when seated. Asked for new chairs but they didn’t have the parts, offered money to install locks but have no idea how to install that.They were ok. I thought maybe they would be more comfortable but they really are not. They very sturdy. You can’t really rock as much on them as I thought.They are light and sturdy, fit perfectly on our small balcony. I love the light color and the dark frame contrast, they are beautiful. They rock!These chairs were SUPER comfortable to sit in, but I had to return them since they don't rock well on my deck (with a few uneven boards). I would only recommend these for a totally smooth surface.Chairs are comfortable but hardly rock. Box came damaged and chairs had some rusting before even using. We returnedlove these light weight chairs. they are very confortable and easy to clean .Did not meet expectations. Poorly designed rocking action. Felt like leaning backward in seat with little real rocking motion. Sadly, returned for refund.
