I had an alternative reason for trying this chair, which I ultimately returned. It is very well- constructed and well- cushioned, but I wanted to set it up for sleeping face-down. Due to my shortness and body type, I couldn't make that happen due to the limits of the chair's adjustability. That's not due to any fault or flaw in the chair; it's because I needed it set up for sleeping, and that didn't work out. I can't compare this to any less-expensive chairs, so I can only comment on this one. But I chose it because it seemed better-constructed, and seeing it in person bore that out.Decent chair, but the carrying bag hardly fits the item - difficult to zip up, which shouldn’t happen with a massage chair at this price. Also too much give in the face cradle area, with the face cradle itself almost too squishy. Arm rest adjustment only changes the angle - doesn’t adjust up or down for height. The adjustment mechanism for the height of the face cradle is two separate knobs that fall off if you’re not careful - this really should be a lever to make it easier. Also, make sure you read the guide that comes with it - there is a flat black plastic piece under the chair that you have to snap into place before using or the chair could collapse - it doesn’t show that part here on Amazon in the description nor the description video! Very easy to miss and potentially dangerous. Hice muy buena compra, la recomiendo ampliamente, además se ve super elegante... la amo.I have done a few chair massage events with this newly bought chair and it’s the best!! Totally worth the price. It fits the big boys and the short girls!! It’s amazing ?I did add an extra padded head rest so that my eye would be on a slightly more flexible surface, but otherwise there were no other changes made to the chair. I used this two-three weeks after each surgery on my eye as my doctor required my head to stay in a heads down position to allow the eye and retina to heal. Hopefully none of you will need this for that purpose, but after renting one of these after the first surgery, I figured I could buy one for the rental price (just a little difference, so a good deal) and since I ended up with multiple surgeries after the initial surgery, I definitely saved money. It really isn't comfortable to sleep on, but you can read and using a special mirror can watch television while keeping your head in the proper position. After a few hours, it does become a little uncomfortable, but serves its purpose well. This chair is solid and high qualityI’ve been a massage therapist 11 years now. I’m on my 3rd chair that is used nearly everyday for work. The first 1 lasted 5 years. The 2nd lasted 5 years until I accidentally backed my car up over it after work one day(stupid story). I’ve just purchased my 3rd Stronglite Massage chair. I’ll always buy Stronglite because they are durable (especially if you don’t drive over it) and sturdy and comfortable. Amazon sells them a bit cheaper than the Stronglite website does. A massage therapist that does corporate massage will not be disappointed. This is by far the best massage chair I've ever used. I've been doing massage for 13 years. This chair is so comfortable. It also can hold the heaviest person you're likely to work with and they will be comfortable. It adjusts quite easily for almost any height or size person.. The only thing that I do not like is that it is on two tiny little wheels. When you put the cover on and drag the chair, it is extremely heavy. It sometimes wobbles and loses balance when you are trying to drag it. I had to buy a separate cart to strap it to in order to move it. I was doing chair massage in Boston quite a bit. I dreaded long walks because of how heavy the chair was until I got my cart.Although not as expensive as the three other brands I was looking at, this is still a tad pricey for what it actually is. With that said however, you'd be hard pressed to find a decent massage chair on the cheap that will be constructed well, durable, have multiple configurations, and above all else be comfortable for your clients during their treatments...one of the BIG selling points for me was the fact there was NO bar between the clients legs. The chair itself is very well made, and the quality of the materials used i'e, the aluminium frame, foam padding, faux leather coverings & wooden supports are of a good quality also...You can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this chairs form & function. The chair is relatively easy to set up once you know what your doing, but once it's up it's easy to adjust to each and every client. Compared to the cheaper chairs I've had in the past this chair certainly out ranks them...all in all, I'm extremely happy with this purchase!I bought it because as a qualified massage therapist I wanted to offer this kind of treatment which is popular at events. It will be more useful to me when I own a car. however It's great but after passing my Massage qualification I have yet to be getting clients sorted out to make use of it. 2 people have used it so far and thought it was very comfortable. It features adjustable parts to accommodate all people. It has a high weight limit so you don't have to seem discriminatory to bigger people or risk a lawsuit when the equipment fails as part of a business in massage which is important to bear in mind. This is a commercial grade of massage chair without a doubt, designed for 1 client after the other all day long, hence the high value. I only know about the product because when I was receiving a massage myself at an event it was on this model and the lady told me to look on Amazon after I asked about the chair myself. Had I not attended at that time and day, I would be none the wiser today haha! The strong lite is incredibly sturdy. Closer observation reveals quality welding and good, thick steel support tubes where they should be. Very classy leather upholstery, it's as good as the car leather of a Mercedes I once had a ride in. The padding is extremely comfortable however it's just a shame that sitting in this position for anything other than back, neck and shoulder massage is terribly impractical.Product improvements to consider for the manufacturer are possible dual purposing, turn it into a normal chair when there are no clients, I mean you CAN sit backwards on it like normal, but it would be nice to see it as dual purpose like Brojects do, with some armrests and ergonomics to make sitting normally possible, this would increase the value even more, make it into modular parts that can attach and detach to give armrests then back to being the massage chair in the picture, that's just my thoughts about it, because it is an AWESOME chair, otherwise it always has to be in storage under-used unless I am booked or at events, it sits gathering dust.It was easy to put together out of the box and folds away fairly portable if you are a shorter person the wheels will be useful, if you are taller than 6 foot then the wheels will feel somewhat obsolete as the wheels don't touch the floor if you are tall, the problem being the wheels are welded at a really steep angle, (I will include pictures later) this is not shown in the picture, this could also be made to be adjustable for tall therapists. The wheels do work really nicely but unless you hold it at a more horizontal angle, the wheels don't touch the floor so I have to carry the chair manually, unless you are much shorter than me about 5ft. On another note,it does look the part, it's the "best-looking" to me.... if it looks right it usually will fit your expectations, if you "feel" that vibe off this then by all means go for it.The Stronglite most definitely does not cut ANY corners, the manufacturer clearly went the extra mile, for that I thank them. I'm not sure it matters but there was some good effort with the packaging, Very unlikely you will receive this item damaged, so don't worry about that being an issuefor £344.23 there's not a lot more you could ask for. This is clearly a commercial standard of product and it was worth my money. Hopefully it will pay for itself and it will start making me some money one day, it's likely to hold it's value in the future too because it's a specialty item. This is the best Indian head chair you can buy it’s easy to use very comfortable and is extremely good value for money, believe me the only choice .You will not regret it.Amazing chair for versatility of positions for tattooing the scalp. It's comfortable, easily adjustable and easy to carry, light weight. Very indicated for professional services as corporate massage. And I love paying it in installments.
